In a huge shocker, American Shane Vinsant defeated Tiago Fernandes 7-5, 6-4. I believe Vinsant is a fairly tall kid, so perhaps Fernandes finally ran into someone who could match power with power. Or maybe he played a bad match. I'll be interested in hearing a match report.

Hidalgo is also out. Yaroslav Shyla beat him in three.

Newman continues his outsanding run of tennis that started at the Eddie Herr, beating Emmett Egger in straight sets.

British George Morgan is the fourth semifinalist.

Shane Vinsant took third place with a 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 win over Yaroslav Shyla.

Christian Harrison won the consolation bracket.
