And he does it again: 4th final set tiebreak win out of 4 matches at Indianapolis.

Unbelievable.

Holy crap. Isner beating all the experienced players now, this is scary.

Who has actually seen Isner play? Is he more than just a 7 foot tall serve machine? Or is he just beating everybody because he's new and nobody knows how to play him? I'm really shocked that Tommy lost.

20 aces for Tommy. Is that a record for him?

He really kept his cool. Very nice result for him, and he shows potential beyond just serving big. And yeah, dude is freakishly TALL.

6'9, GIANT serve, solid volleys, he hit a few tough ones nicely. Not very fast, but what do you expect with such a height? Forehand is okay, backhand is Roddick quality

But seriously, some of his groundies from the match today were downright horrid  A couple forehands bounced a few times before hitting the net

It was on ESPN, I'm surprised you didn't watch it Tangy. :p

John's got a huge first serve (obviously), but just as impressive is how big his second serve is. He's got a big forehand but it breaks down, a sub par two hander on the backhand wing, excellent touch at the net, and average movement.

Great stuff from John though, especially keeping his composure after wasting a match point in the second set. :worship:
