Update: He was defeated at Wimbledon by Kyle Edmund in 3 sets. He then was defeated in Bastad by Carballes Baena in 3 Sets. He went to Gstaad where he defeated Malek Jaziri in 3 sets, but lost to Bautista Agut in straight sets. He went to Kitzbuhel where he defeated Thomas Fabbiano in 3 sets, but lost to Ramos-Violas in straight sets. He played in Winston-Salem, but was defeated by Lloyd Harris in 3 sets. He played in the US Open, but lost to Dominik Koepfer in 4 sets.
