Jannik got a set off Wawrinka in the 1st Rd of the US Open, but that was the best he could do.

Interesting to see if Sinner can start the new year on the same note he ended the last. If he wins the Bendigo challenger, any top player that gets him in one of the early rounds of AO will be truly worried, and rightly so.
