he spoke mostly about last year i.e his injury, his father's passing and how him being injured and at home allowed him to spend those last 6 weeks together so he was grateful for that aspect of it. Letterman also had shingles, so they discussed the effects (paralysed left side of his face, lost hearing etc.)

he didn't have much to say about the qrt final match, except that he was honored to be a part of something so special, that his hardships have made him appreciate life and his tennis more, and taught him not to take that latter so seriously. Just glad to be back and playing well again
