BATTLE FOR THE NUMBER ONE CONTINUES

Kim Clijsters fought last year with Monica Seles. This year she has to fight with Monica and Amelie. Every single tournament can change top spot and Kim knows that. This top three players must play 100% in every single match in every single set or game. Since three month rain Kim didn't come back in great form. She lost two times to Nangaporn Tongsalee. This time she laso can play against young Thai in QF.

Amelie Mauresmo has been secend in the ranking but never first. Now the top French star wants more. She wants to be the queen of IWA. She needs only four wins in Charston and she will be number one. Amelie is Australian Open Champion so she knows how to play in big events and this is biggest event on green clay.

American number one Monica Seles is still fighting for a number one spot. She doesn't have good results this year. The difference on the top is so small that every early lost could cost Monica top spot. She will have to play 100% and she will ait for Amelie and Kim results.

SEXY YOUNG BLONDIE

Can sexy, young blond girl be number one in the world? Of course she can. Whole world is watching new sex symbol of tennis Maria Sharapova. Young Russian won last year Moscow and was number two in the world but suddenly she retired from IWA Tour. This year she came back with new coach and new power in IWA but she has to start from zero in singles and doubles. She is totally different person now. She is brave, sometimes aggressive but she knows what she wants. She wants to beat everyone and be the number one.

"Next Big Thang"

" I feel that i have a much better game then Anna and i really hate to get compared with her, she is my friend and im out there to play tennis and win, not to lose 99.9% of my matches. Im on the tour to become world #1, I believe i was destined to take that postion and everyone will see in around 1 years time who is Queen of IWA tour."

"It is very hard for me to come on tour at such a young age (16) and have high expectations off everyone, but its what i wanted and im very well prepared to work hard to get it and my new coach Drew is the one to help me get up there."
