I agree, it would be an awesome final and it looks like we are headed for exactly that.

I think the only real risk to Carlos is FAA who I think he'll meet in the quarter finals. Carlos I think will meet Fritz in the Semi which shouldn't be too hard for him. It may be Sinner though but I think Carlos can beat him as well.

However Daniil has to get through Zverev before he can get to the quarters which is by no means a given. If he gets through Zverev then I think he'll cruise through to meet Rublev in the Semi and I don't see Rublev beating him.

I think Daniil's in a good mental space at the moment, he's let the 2022 AusOpen recede into the dark past and is brimming with confidence. I think he will take the title.

It is my most anticipated HC matchup this season, would love to see it. I don't think it happens here though Meddy isn't Meddy in these condtions could be upset, Carlitos has a very tough draw too w. Fritz/Sinner/Paul/FAA 3/4 have beaten him before.

I guess objectively it is, having a peaking recent #1 facing another recent #1, eras being close with each other, although some say here, this tournament may not be the best to showcase Medvedev's strengths.
