The 11th Junior replaced Klein in the "Top Ten Club" because Klein didn't play 8 junior tournaments...what a joke! Makes a mockery of the name. These administrators are so wrapped up in their little world of junior tennis that they are retarding the development of the senior game!

One fact I found out was that Davydenko's highest junior ranking was 510 :eek:

one of the better example is federico brown (argentina ) he was rank number one in the junior ranking and he always beat gustavo kuerten and everybody know what was the end with this two players .

Yes manu i remember fede brown but his problems were all about injuries not underachievement... fede still has the better wining streak in juniors. more or less i think there were 81 matches. thoug he was nº1 he never pass trohugh semis in a jr GS. not only guga he has beat, many more known players...

I posted a thread last year about the 2006 generation -- they all seem to be struggling, no-one has had real success yet with the pros. Maybe there's a trend that good young players don't focus on the junior tour but just start in the Pro tour at a young age (for example Nadal, Djokovic, Gulbis did that).

youre right! but last year generation it seems that theyll break that trend...
but the others young guns comin they are focusing more in pro at an early age.. like tomic, krajinovic, harrison, williams and many more
