As an appetizer to the Cincinnati final, where federer served his only bagel to djokovic 6 years ago, I’d like to get a certain statistic. I’d like to know how many times active players with 300 or more tour level matches have been bagelled. Is there any source to figure it out?
The only thing I know is that federer only got served the bakery product three times in his career, twice in his youth 98 and 99 and the infamous one at the French open 08.

For djokovic I have no statistics... would be nice if someone could provide them.

Nadal got bagelled 14 times in his career, which is a surprisingly high number for a player of his caliber. But how well does he match against less accomplished players?

Djokovic has been bagelled 10 times, including the Budapest Challenger. He's won 6 of those matches, though.

At ATP/GS level, Federer has actually received four bagels and Nadal 14.

You can check the player you want in Tennis Abstract.

Its a miracle Nadal even played beyond 2004, after his doctor said his foot injury would send him into retirement, and you are surprised by bagels?
Yes Nadal has won more US Opens than anyone since 2010, but he also was too hurt to even play 2012 and 2014 US Opens.

Physical strength is part of being a tennis player, if you're physically weak , you're not the best, missing tournaments for injury is not an argument in Nadal's favor.

Wow!... I never realised that.Never heard that one before.News to me.Thanks!

I did hear once though that Nadal lost to Muller once at Wimbledon after hitting 77 winners/17 unforced errors.

Also I glimpsed on the tv in major breaking news that Nadal held a set point one time against Djokovic in Rome & Indian Wells.

Also, people may not realise this that even though Nadal whimpered out of the WTF last year he did manage to give Goffin an almighty scare and provide the closest match against the WTF finallist until the finals, that is.

Hush now!!!... Don't get in the way of a good yarn.Apparently Nadal can balance the sword of Democles on his thinning balding strands of hair on his head. That's how good he is.

They need to add a new 'Laureau Award' that Nadal would be unbackable favourite to win- 'Miracle to even play the sport award'

and he had a 5th set lead in the aussie open 2017. there s/b a key in a separate thread where baghdad bob can spiel his nadal mantra with just numbers. like he could post 1, 7, 12 and the other thread would describe what those numbers correlated to.

example 1 could be la decima in french open. 7 could be the 5th set lead in the aussie open, 12 could be the indoor factor of wimby, etc.

so a post could be something like

2, 3, 12, 15, 21

and those that care can go to the key and find what those numbers relate to.

i have to believe he has this stuff in a separate app where he can just copy and paste the stuff here regardless of what the title of the thread is.

Excellent idea to give Rafael Nadal a Laureus lifetime achievement award for "Most Miraculous to Even Play the Sport Award".

This will also help Nadal fans to swallow any defeat with gratitude and gratefulness: just remembering that it is a miracle that he even stepped out on court. A Nadal miracle mindset will replace any bitterness and frustration in defeat with wonder and awe of Nadal's tennis life as a true tennis miracle.

I saw somewhere that Isner has been bagelled only once in his whole life (that too after the marathon Mahut match). Receiving less bagels tells how much of a servebot you are.
