After winning 3 slams in a season ,Federer still had the energy to win the WTF vs top 8 opposition, no less.

An he did it 3 times: 2004,2006,2007

Is this feat underrated?

How is it underrated? Winning 4 of the 5 most important tournaments are why those are considered three of the very best seasons in the history of the game (and a cut above e.g. Connors '74, Wilander '88, or Nadal '10).

if anything it is more overrated and the fact that you have to ask this question itself makes you feel insecure about the feat. The year 2004 to 2007 was a joke of a year for Frauderer to collect is fake trophies.

also Nadal's 10 is achieved in 3 different surfaces in a single year which hasn't been achieved by anyone else in the open era. How can you compare fraud years to his and mcenroe? even if we take fraud of the fed years his still does not qualify to be the best on top of mcenroe and nadal.

It is not anybody's fault Nadal does not have the energy left to beat the top 8 after a grueling season.

It's a classic Nadallite tactic to denigrate the value of the season-ending tournament. Endless clay court masters can't cover up the massive hole in their idol's resume - never was he the best of the best at the end of the year. Always defeated by the true #1 each time.

Federer won 3 slams in 2006 and 2007, and was only stopped at the other slam by the greatest clay courter Nadal in the final. Even in 2010 which is Nadal's best year slam wise he failed to reach the final of every slam. :wavey:

It was achieved in the weakest era of tennis so this achievement isn't really impressive imo.

Lol :p Nadallites claim the strong era only occurs on alternate years - 2008 strong, 2009 weak, 2010 strong, 2011 weak, 2012 strong for a few weeks, 2013 strong except for Wimbledon.. hahahahaha

Nadal was injured in the AO though, if not, he would have reached the final and would have won, no?

or your so called no 1 frauderer was defeated always. He hasn't won a match since 2007 and it is such a shame really.

please find me a text in my post where I have talked about MTF. we do not even need to get to WTF and master when 3 GS won in 3 different surfaces clearly beats the 3 GS won in 2 different surfaces in a year. guess logic is not your cup of tea.

you dont get the point for being in the final. the weight is given on winning the titles. Hell then Lendl would have been great if we were even counting finalist in the "best title category". Keep on crying and the fact that the thread was needed to be created to only reassure fedtards that his season was great is utterly laughable at best. If you talk of best season than McEnroe 84-1 was the best ever in one season. If you talk about which of the 3 GS won has the better weight then clearly winning them on 3 different surface takes the weight. You can include all the masters and WTF but remember the best is judged by GS and not by WTF/Masters. Dont you fedtards give less weight to master and say that GOAT is judged by GS and now you want to even count WTF\Masters in the best season category.
