Certainly looks like it:

QF Gaba
SF Nishikori/Cilic
F Either Mugro or more likely this version of Dull who lacks confidence, power and speed

Nadal will tear limbs off the Lithuanian kung-fu wannabe.

Obviously Nadal is 95% gonna win but Gulbis has a slim chance.

I think Nishikori, Almagro, Cilic and Nadal can all beat him. Cilic may be tired though after his tough match today against Robredo. He should get by Gabishivilli but will most likely lose in the SF.

even if ernie gets to the final he'll just pull the same crap he always does against nadal and lose in 2 or 3

its the same pettern with him against nadal. he always looks like he could and sometimes should win but folds when it matters and nadal scraps through

at this point itd be stunned if he lost this, lets look at who nadal has left:

almagro - will bend over for her as all obedient Spaniards do

kohlschreiber/giraldo - kohli's never taken a set off him on clay
Giraldo might be the biggest threat to him. He's playing very well on clay so far this season. But he's mentally a midget

nishikori/cilic/gulbis/gabashvili - kei has never taken a set off him. he's been close but if he cant do it on hard there's no way in hell he's doing it on clay
cilic is a proven head case against top players, his only real chance against nadal would be on grass
gulbis - ive said in another thread why he wont beat him
gabashvili - playing well but lacks the consistency to beat nadal

But this time he would be playing a much slower version of Dull.

This is a funny thread since none of Gulbis's matches on clay this season have been streamed. Even more funny since Ernests doesn't have a single win against Nadal, Cilic or Nishikori. Doesn't make any sense. A semifinal would be a good result for him.
He's almost winless against Gabashvili too. 1-4 H2H.

Yep, but 3 of those matches happened a long time ago in challenger/future level, one of them in 2014 when Gulbis was 15/16.

And he's crushing Gaba atm btw.

With Gulbis the H2H doesn't matter much really. When he's on he can beat anybody.

Exactly what has mugbis achieved in his career to receive the moniker GOATbis?

the guy is an utter failure in life living off the funds of his rich parents. Utter genetic trash.

When you put Gulbis' game and Nadull's game on paper, Gulbis is superior. Unfortunately he chokes quite often to Nadull so it's not that simple.

Either way, this final would be on the racquet of Gulbis.

Nothing wrong with his genes:lick:

And he´s so GOAT that he even doesn´t need to achieve anything in order to be called that:devil:
