is this a fair comparison to make do you think? both of them have similar games. both have definately over achieved in terms of ranking. both have a poor record in finals and both have lost a number of finals this year. okay ferrer only 2 of 3 but his record in finals recently is 1-9. Are these 2 players the mirror of each other on the respective tours?

Ferrer has been in 10 of the past 11 grand slam quarterfinals, and in 5 of the past 11 semifinals. He hits the buffers once he meets Federer, Nadal, or Djokovic, but otherwise he is highly competitive.

Kerber has been in 3 out of 11 quarterfinals. In terms of the Yokozuna ranking system, Ferrer is Ozeki material, the second highest ranking category that there is. Kerber is one level lower at Sekiwake.

Errani is the one who has the same style of play and they both train at the same academy. They are grinders while Kerber is more of a pusher.

Wait, what? You're talking about someone who hit roughly the same amount of winners as FEDERER yesterday and here you are comparing him to Errani
