i will go with youzhny in 3.

the key for youzhny: start returning better by the the time 2nd set rolls around. the courts are playing fast so it will take some time for the russian to start getting a decent read on fish`s serve.

i think youzhny can keep up with him from the baseline. the trick is to get into some of the points on fish`s serve.

Yeah, Albano Olivetti of France. A huge server with some weapons, but his consistency is an issue. Still, Fish losing to a young inexperienced hopeful is just.... :facepalm:. So yeah, this 2 set rout by Youzhny is expected.

Fish needs to "Pray for Death" in order to produce brilliant results on clay, and potentially grass. Otherwise...no chance.

In order to have the complete top 10 package, he must stay consistent on all types of surfaces. His fantastic season last year was mainly due to outdoor hard courts which worked in his favour (eg. Miami, Toronto, Cincinatti), but I guess he did pretty good on grass as well (ie. Wimby QF). But his clay game and his indoor HC game has yet to shine...but given his age and form right now, sadly it may be too late for him to do well in those areas.

Fish hasn't been happy since he got to the Top 10 and overtook Roddick as American #1. He probably realizes that it's not easy to be consistent and he's coming back down to Earth.

i never thought he belonged in the top 10. not for long anyway.

he went as far as he could which is not too shabby for somebody that started his climb late.
