Raonic obviously and objectively didn't reach Fed's heights as a finished player, and doesn't have his style or flash which Fed achieved with a lot of hard work. But if we discount irrelevant elements in modern tennis like the net play (which is mostly flash and very little substance) and if we focus to the most important elements of the game like the most important shots, we can analyze and compare these players more closely and objectively:

serve: Raonic > Federer
fh: Federer > Raonic
bh: Raonic > Federer

As we all know, for the most tennis fans, footwork and grinding =/= talent, but offensive game and shots = talent, and since Raonic objectively has naturally better, more well rounded offensive game without any weakness, can we say without any doubt that Raonic is more talented than Federer?

If Botnic had a BH as good as Freds, he'd be a GS champion by now.

I am not sure if any great of the Open era is or was more naturally talented than Federer.

Great point as was evidenced by the fifth set in last year's USO!

In terms of pure racket skills surely. If he had Fed's movement, stamina and lack of injuries he would've easily won 10 slams by now.

Absolutely, vastly more talented. Raonic just has been unlucky with injuries.

Under-appreciating Raonic's talent on this forum is outrageous.
And in direct proportion to wildly deluded over-idolization of Federer, a frustrated ballet dancer and fairly run-off-the-mill tennis player in the grand scheme of things.

Fully agreed, buddy. I genuinely believe Milos is a much more talented player than dull and faker put together.
It's only those unlucky injuries that stopped him from winning many slams and passing those two ugly pushers who vultured cup-cake draws slams when Milos and other players of his generation were struggling with injuries.

Serve: Milos >>>>> Djokovic >>>>> Nadal
FH: Milos=Nadal >>> Djokovic
BH: Milos=Djokovic >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Nadal
Net game: Milos >>>>>>>>> Nadal/Djokovic

You seem over-emotional and biased.

If it weren't for the many career threatening injuries and food intolerancies the GOAT race will be like this today:

Nadal >>>>>>>>>> Raonic > Murrinka >>> Djoko >>>>> Federer.

That's their talents' order.
