Djokovic has had a a great year, but it has been made to look better than it actually is due to the rest of the big four playing like crap all year.

I'm pissed at Andy, all these wasted opportunities. he should have nabbed a major this year :(

playing like crap? wtf?

did you not watch any of the masters finals between rafa and nole and the wimbledon final? all quality matches

if nole wasn't there nada or fed would have won everything this year

Until Wimbledon Novak was in monster-form (ergo better form than in earlier years) but now it feels like Nole is playing like post-Wimbledon 2010 (where he wasn't that bad actually) and the other ones just are shitty as ever.

Wimbledon was clearly the worst Nadull has ever played in a major final.

Combination of both. I actually think his level dropped a bit after clay season, but the confidence he gained during the first 6 months of the season will keep him going till the end of the year.

Both. Djoker has been playing out of the world this year, but Rafa and Roger have been fairly muggy this year, too.

Nole reached his GodLevel, Fedal have started declining and Murray is still the same choker he has always been.

Only the most biased clown couldn't see Djokovic has improved his overall level, yes the others haven't been up to par. It's a combo but not sure to what level the difference is.

Novak is better, but he was a very good player before, too. It may not look like it, but it only takes a small variance to produce a different result even in tennis.

It's obvious in sprinting: if you have a stuffy nose, you don't breathe as well, and in a 100m sprint where the first place and 5th place finishers will be separated by tenths of a second, every little thing matters. It doesn't seem as obvious in tennis, but it's the same. Novak fixed his serve and got rid of food that was making him feel sick and tired, and now he's that much better. Even the 'broken' Novak won AO and world tour finals in 2008.

Yea Both.. Nole has peaked, Fed and Nadal are clearly past theirs. but thats not to say this Nole couldnt be #1 either way even with both Fed and Rafa at their peaks.

Roger is worse definitely. Murray has always been like this, winning masters 1000 and choking big matches at slams. Nadal is having some ups and downs, but most of his downs are related to Djokovic.
