He's certainly up there. I'm not sure about being the best without RG though. Maybe he is.

Djokovic is actually not that good of a clay player. He plays on clay just like he plays on hard. Of course he's a very good player so that's enough to beat most of the field.

What he does have is the perfect game to counter Dull, which is pretty much the recipee for success on clay these days.

and nadal doesn't play the same way on clay the way he does on hc:confused:? So because he plays similar on hc as he does on clay means he's not a good clay player?

Are people seriously picking Murray? He didn't win any clay title, while Sampras has a Masters on clay and competed in a much deeper clay field. Wawrinka is also much better on clay, than the Scot. Not to mention Coria, best of the claycourters without RG.

This. Coria didnt even develop his clay tennis to the biggest potential and he was already a monster in the surface.
