It got me to thinking all Nadal does is push balls back into court. I have never seen Nadal play as well on any surface as Murray did in Wimbledon final 2013 or Olympics 2012.
If we give Tiredray the 2007 Australian Open match...6-15

If we give Tiredray the 2007 Australian Open match...
And if we include the Miami 2012 walkover, the January 2015 exhibition beatdown, and Dull bending over for Berdych to avoid another bagel a few weeks later in OZ... the H2H is 10-14.

PleaseMurray best level doesn't get even close to Nadal's average level before he became a mug.

A bit exaggerated perhaps, but not far from the truth. When he calls it a day, Nadal will do so as at worst the second greatest player of all-time, these threads comparing him with second tier players are, as always, pointless. He's clearly above anyone aside from Federer/Djokovic on every surface, not only achievement-wise but peak level too: on clay, that's obvious but it's true even on HC (USO 2010) or grass (WB 2008)...Murray best level doesn't get even close to Nadal's average level before he became a mug.
Well, it's true that during his best years Nadal's level didn't fluctuate much, but consistency doesn't mean lower level. His level was still most of the time higher than anyone outside Federer/Djokovic could reach, on clay this is even more the case...Please
Nadals average is his peak. His level hardly changes.
