He has 2 Ws + 1 Olympics at the same court in the toughest era ever, the Big 3 era.

So if we look not only the empty number of Ws which is maybe too low, but also take into account the Olympics and take the ultimate weight of competition into consideration, do you think that Murray can be objectively considered to be a grass ATG?

Yes, he's the only big three to not lose a set to Djokovic on grass, and the only man to straight set Federer in a best of five grass final. He also straight setted three big fives on the way to OG. Remember also that the Olympics semi final was Djoker's most painful defeat of his career. He's also Queens GOAT - objectively a bigger event than a Masters given the line up, past winners, history etc. All this with the weight of a nation on his back.

Undoubtedly. His grass resume is very impressive. Would have won a lot more too if not collided with the BIG3 era.

BIG2*.

If Murray could pick his opponents on grass - he would play Djokovic all day long.
Yep, Djoker is easy pickings for Murray on grass.

And yet King has 5 Wimbledons to Murray's 2. 🤭
How many grass sets has Djoker won against Murray? Scrap that, he can't even take the Scot to a tiebreak ;)

Yeah, and Fed fans will take the eight over Djokovic's five.
Djokovic has only ever beaten Olderer on grass. Never Federer. Only Murray and Nadal have that honour from the big five.

If the LTA is willing to waste a wildcard on Murray at Wimbledon next year then I really hope King draws him first round so he gets the honors of sending that washed up has-been off the tour once and for all on his way to his sixth Wimbledon title.

Murray and Djokovic played a total of 5 sets across two matches in the span of what, less than a year? Not exactly a great sample size. Yes Murray won all sets (they were tight ones mostly) but do you really think it’d be so lopsided if they met more? A bit ridiculous

on topic, overall I think Murray is a better grasscourter than his two Wimbledons (and one F) suggest, ATG is maybe pushing it. Olympics definitely also needs to be taken into account.

But he was great on the surface for sure

In this era, he’s definitely one of the best on grass, probably third behind Faker and Federer. Yet again, no one has a damn clue how to play on grass in this era. Murray would’ve had more Wimby’s for sure if he didn’t deal with big 3, particularly Federer but that also applies to players like Roddick and others.
