He suggested that Scoville wear the tight shirt that Rafa is wearing. Does he not know that the tight shirt is not urban and is actually quite gay. Scoville seems like an urban hip hop person who would not be caught dead in that. Maybe I am wrong what do you guys think.?

Don't tell that to the guys who make...or wear...UnderArmour. They're making a fortune with the stuff. I don't think it's 'gay'...but you've definitely gotta have the goods underneath to pull it off well. Rafa's got it. I think Sco does too.

And that is what JMac was saying. It was a back handed slap at all the big clothes. Sco was almost lost in his shirt last night and he's pretty buff from what I could see. People are gonna witch and moan and make the gay comments but in the end you'll see guys start showing up in the tight shirts which absorb the sweat and make it less of a problem running down the torso.

As long as Agassi doesn't try to wear one with his pum-pum shorts I'm okay.

Remember Agassi started to play in 1986, at the time the guys played with different shorts...

I thought Scoville's clothing looked urban cool while Nadal's outfit looks like something from the Disco era. Just because Nike's tried to come up with something new for Nadal doesn't mean it's good.

Maybe Lopez and Nadal worry about this issue, but I think the rest of the field just wants to wear comfortable clothes that don't take up all their attention.

He already wore it :wavey:
He wore the capri pants but not the sleeveless shirt. Not that this makes any difference. It's not like capri pants have never been seen before.

this is the same shirt for me :p

btw I dont think that nadal cares THAT much about what he's wearing: out of the court he's always wearing the same 4 or 5 t-shirts ;)
and tight shirts doesnt mean they are uncomfortable :retard:

AQ is right...and I don't think it looked gay at all, Rafa's got a nice body and he would be the best choice to try such a shirt............I love David Nalbandian, but in him that shirt would have looked like he was 5 months pregnant :haha:
I don't mind much about this shirt I must say, however if Rafa wore pants just as tight as the shirt, same fabric and shape, I WOULD PAY A FORTUNE TO ATCH ANY OF HIS MATCHES  :lick:

It seems you have very clear ideas about the therme "urban", which is unfortunately not the case with me. I have the feeling that "urbanity" is quite relative and it comes down to socialisation, doing to what everyone else is doing... So if these tight shirts become a trend, it will also be "urban" to wear them, no? As for the gay thing - I know that someone is a gay when he is not attracted to opposite sex. From other things, I can not be sure.

I agree with Saumon.
A tight shirt doesn't necessarily mean that it's uncomfortable. Otherwise, why would so many other sports people wear it?

In athletics, people used to wear regular clothes: a t-shirt and shorts. Then the sleeveless shirts were introduced (I bet that this created quite a commotion as well) and now, many of them wear tight outfits.
Cyclists and gymnasts wear nothing but tight outfits because it's more practicle for them.

Thank god we got to see Stefan's magnificent legs instead of having them swathed in yards of cloth. :)

Scoville Jenkins is a great looking man. I'd love to see him without all the baggy clothing. He's probably has a fantastic body.

I like it that Nadal is so sure of himself that he can bring out new looks without self consciousness.

I hate it when the guys constantly pick at their sweaty shirts before they serve. They need better fitting clothing.
