With the incredible fall 2004 that Federer had including wins at the US Open, Thailand, and Masters, is it possible that if Nadal gets to at least the US Semis, wins a few more fall tournaments, and get to at least the Masters semis, he could replace Federer as the Y.E. #1?

There is another thread about this mate :wavey:

I think anything is possible but Roger missed a huge portion of the fall too due to a thigh injury and indoor is his fav surface. Anything is possible :D

If......but.....maybe..................it's not going to happen mate!

Players who lose 3 matches all year do not end up as world number 2!

Okay they do, a rookie could have a 0/2 yearly record, but he would not have a 62/3 record! Make that about 85/3 by the end of the year!
