1st serve points won: 87%
2nd serve points won: 69%

Winning more points on his first serve than Dr Ivo, and more points on his 2nd than Eggovic.

He played a bunch of terrible returners and dwarfs.

We'll see how he fares against Murray....

Top 90 titan Dzhumhur, servebots Querry and Groth (Querry less so, but he did at least generate some break points), poor form and injured RBA. Obviously he must have served well and it is some imrpessive botting consistently to avoid donating a break, but Federer said it himself - guys haven't been returning well.

Simon, if he's still playing well, will probably be a much better test of Federer's serve than the players he has faced so far. If he still avoids being broken there then that really is something to talk about. Also it could be a welcome test for him to face a good returner before potentially playing Murray.

He servebotted his way to the 2009 title, so he's definitely near the top.

When Federer serves 70% and above he never lost a match. Not even on garros.

As his rest of games will click.

I challenge u all to find the game he lost serving above 70% 1st serves.

Querrey, Groth and RBA are all in the Top 70 though, even if they're not great returners
Did not Querrey beat Simon in Nottingham in QF just before Wimbeldon ?! Did not Groth beat Lopez as well?! if Simon beat Fed you will say what a great player is Simon but if Federer beat Simon in 3 sets you will say Fed played with mugs. Great thinking ! The same Federer in 2012 at age of 31 beat both Djokovic and Murray to win his 7th Wimbeldon title. So now shut up and enjoy watching matches.

Simon match will be key. Lets hope its on center court as we don't want Federer to lose rhythm off that court. But at least simon will be good practice for a murray matchup. 2 handed backhand and overall good baseline game.. Fed can't ask for a better.. getting RBA then simon before a potential murray match... and murray getting ivo and popsicle which won't be great for him...

If fed stays solid with simon... he's serving well... if murray's avg first serve is 110 or under like it was against dr. ivo.. then maybe that shoulder is a problem... and Federer may have chances...

hopefully fed gets first or second match on center ... djoker is getting the 2nd match regardless and im betting its on no1 court.
