Here's a statistic worth noting:

If Rafael Nadal loses the French Open final today, he becomes the third player in the Open Era to achieve the losing career slam (Runner up at all 4 majors) and only the second man to achieve both the losing and winning career slam.

Roger Federer and Ivan Lendl have achieved the losing career slam while Roger Federer is the only player to have won and lost all four majors.

And he'll be the first with a career RU slam achieved against the same player. Whoever wins, they'll be the first to meet 12 times in Slams, and probably also the first pair to meet 6 times at a single slam?

No it'll be more special surely above Fed/Lendl as he'll become first player in history to lose all finals to single Player ….… It looks so worse when player from his own generation owns him and completes Career Final Rafa Slam kicking his ass through his prime. Vamos!

Also, let's not forget he's lost to Nole also in the WTF final.

So seems like last year's WTF final loss was only a tank to get this achievement.

Yeah, especially when Rafa leds the H2H in Slam meetings comfortably against this player...you're simply delusional. :)

Another interesting fact is if Nole wins today he's beaten Nadal in the final of all 4 grand slams, something Frauder could never do against Dull.

He'll also have lost all 4 slams to Djokovic, that has to be some sort of a record

How embarrassing from Federer for not to being able to that, against such a fantastic player like Nadal, as if many have done that.

Losing all 4 major finals to the same opponent will be a great achievement :worship:
Nadal's career is defined by the number 2, so won't be too surprised.
