karlo was down 3-5* 15-30
but sa choked the match away and karlo broke right back. to make it *4-5. karlo saved a match point 30-40 down on his serve at *4-5.
Not a good match by ivo but win is a win. :)

Dr. Ivo def. (LL)Sa 6-4 6-7(5) 7-6(3)

What a weird match!!!

- Ivo wasted 1 or 2 MP at 5:4 in the 2nd set + 4:1 in the tie-break :help:
- Sa was leading 5:2 in the third and had MP at 5:4.
Aces: 24-0 for Ivo.

Sá has a history of chokes. Poor guy. Good performance though. ;)

Had 30-30 on serve 5/3 and MP on 5/4* as you said Voo.

Boy oh boy, saiprakash had a lucky escape there.... that loss kind of sums up the way Sa's career has gone since that Wimbledon QF result. How many players can you think of who come out of nowhere to have one big showing and then promptly disappear just as swiftly? And I'm not talking about players like Verkerk or Chris Lewis here, who managed to win titles after all. Sa actually had a 15-match losing streak at one point in 2003, didn't he?

Another routine close match for Ivo. It doesn't matter who he's playing, Ivo vs. anyone is a close match. Only one person all year has lost fewer than 9 games to Ivo in a match and it was...Sam Querrey, who crushed Ivo (6-2, 6-3). Rematch tomorrow. Hopefully Ivo will come out firing some aces (he was out aced 17-5 last time) and take it in a pair of tiebreaks!

Karlovic was injured in that match. So hopefully he wins the match this time. Sam isn't a bad player but he is very inconsitent. Sam querry's ranking is 90.

The Ivo we have been seeing lately should be able to brush aside the likes of Sa so it's probabvly not a good sign that it took a third set breaker and MP's but a W is a W and with Karlovic it's all about whether he hits a patch of rythm and if he does I don't think a guy on tour would like their chances of breaking him.
