I don't think he will. He said he was going to rest three or four weeks after the US Open, which takes away Bangkok and maybe Metz. Besides, it's unlikely that he's going to travel all the way to Asia to play one tournament. ;)

I think he will play Metz as he was finalist there last year and has points to defend.

Yeah, I know, but if he is still injured, he might decide to skip it.

I remember Metz last year very well. Haehnel beat Paulo in the semis then Richard in the final. :fiery:

Well whatever he does decide to do, Good luck to him
and i also hope he takes as much time to recover rather than to rush his recovery from his elbow

Nothing new but...
Eric Deblicker is commentating the USO semis on Eurosport right now and he said that they haven't decided yet wether Richard will come back in Bangkok or Metz. It will depend on Richard's injury...
They have planned to start some fitness from next Monday... Good idea :yeah: ;)

Another report says all the infos are:

1) Richard is in "holyday" for one week right now. He's resting. He'll get back to physical training (fitness) on Monday.
2) He had some medical tests/examinations done on his elbow and their results are due on Monday.
3) Depending on the diagnosis of the doc', he'll come back to competition either in Bangkok or in Metz.

;)

Does Eric often comment on Eurosport?
