IMG, who recently dumped Bernard Tomic, has now signed up to manage and represent Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

Tsonga is currently ranked no. 15 in the world and has been a top 10 player for several seasons. He is considered to be one of the most exciting and flamboyant players on the tennis tour..

Tsonga was earlier being managed by Morgan Menahem and at IMG, he will be managed by Carlos Fleming, who also manages Venus Williams amongst other tennis players.

IMG is also said to be in discussions with Canadian Eugenie Bouchard to represent her.

What a colossal waste of money. Sponsoring Clownga is like giving money to the homeless. A waste.

Hum, quite strange actually. Tsonga is surely marketable and very likeable, but he's almost 30 yo and his career apparently in is free fall.

They're going to turn him into a boxer after he retires from tennis.

shouldn't Jo focus on winning small tournaments instead of his image instead?

Good that they were able to capture a young prospect like Tsonga with his entire career ahead of him

Good decision...after Tomic showed to be a waste of huge potential due to lack of hard work and focus, they've made the right decision in going with the hard-training and laser like focused Jo

What I'd like to know is why everyone has been jumping ship from IMG. Fed, Nadal... Tomic

They used to be the diamond brand of management agencies but it seems the top players sense something wrong lately.
