Should Nadal and Djokovic be awarded with 1 more slam each - RG to Nadal and W to Djokovic? These 2 slams are secure in Big 2's hands, only USO is up for the grabs so it objectively shouldn't be awarded to anyone.

We cannot allow injustice like Big 2 remaining short of their slams and Federer profiting from the global pandemics in a big way to happen, so awarding the Big 2 in this way seems only fair.

Not sure about simply ‘awarding’ anything to anyone w/o earning but certainly injustice involved having WB already scratched & IF USO20 goes the same route, some fairly compensatory type major(s) need to b devised for 2021 cause if not, a HUGE ASTERISK for any deleted majors.

Actually Rafa has won 2 of the last 3 US Opens, and he's ONE away from the record held by Connors-Sampras-Federer.
Rafa's only loss in the last 3 years was 2018 when he retired from the Semi vs. Del Potro after sustaining an injury vs. Thiem.
Even more impressively, Rafa didn't even play the US Open in 2012 and 2014, and still has won FOUR US Opens and has beaten US Open Champions in all FOUR of his title-runs (except for 2010 when he beat Djokovic before Djokovic had won the US Open).
So the US Open belongs to Rafa.

Thats alot of words for not answering the question.

No they shoudnt be gifted anything. Dont you think thats the antithesis of a great champion, to be handed glory, titles etc?

Same applies to Federer - if the Big 2 stay without their just awards, Fed is being undeservedly gifted by the circumstances to stay ahead of the Big 2 numerically. And majority thinks that numbers = glory, which is also unfair.

This is the most ridiculous idea I've ever seen.
Obviously, the way it should be done is by giving partial credit based on probability of winning. For example Nadal should be given 0.6 titles for Roland Garros, and Djokovic 0.2 and Thiem 0.2. that's the only same thing to do.

The season isn't being canceled. Cincy/USO are basically confirmed and qualies begin in less than three weeks.

Well thats circumstantial at best. Federer has already won his titles. Sure in the unbelievably contrived lens of who will get the most grandslam titles out of the three we can talk about opportunity won and lost but when talking about winning titles on merit they all are playing to the same conditions.

Can’t have it inconsistent *ing. If the majors proceed & yet many call for *ing, then same would have applied to the majors tally if they were canceled or no resumption. Meanwhile, as of now, WB20 deserving of *ing unless some compensatory measure is taken.

Naagh.
No awarding or gifting.

But, we could/should (now when we have time), take a good look at the trash 2003-2007 period and consider erasing it from history all together.
It's an embarrassment to sport that era.
So, Federer can proudly own his 9 Grand Slams worthy of being called that.

Rather than give an extra slam to each of goatdal and boatovic, I think a fairer solution would be to take a slam away from Rogie - probably 2009 Wimbledon

Interesting suggestions. Tennis history maybe needs to be revised retroactively. If Federer gets compared to Mugpras, he can have his weak era slams, but if he gets compared to the Big 2 in the GOAT race, those bunch of slams may objectively need to get reduced or erased completely.
