This QF is THE test for Clayray 3.0.

He could implode spectacularly, go down in a battle, or Returnay and Botray will show up and make Ferrer look like a junior player.

IF Andy gets past Ferrer, he will have Nadal (who is his future pigeon now) or an exhausted Djoker who will have no place to go but down after the high of finally getting over the Rafa hurdle on Chatrier, and becoming the winner in waiting.

Then the only players capable of getting to the final are Federer, who will be no match on this slow surface, and Nishikori, who Returnray embarrassed just a few weeks ago in Madrid.

Wawrinka and Tsonga cannot be found in the final.

So Murray v Ferrer is the REAL final, for Murray.

Maybe Clayray shaved, so he would have just enough beard for the trophy ceremony?

He wouldn't have time to maintain it over the next week of big matches. :worship:

Agreed. Eggovic doesn't get tired though, Murray will just beat him by playing the better tennis.

Djokovic has one slam win against Murray outside of Australia and that was against 2014ray :haha:

So I'm thinking just like the other 2 of their non-AO slam meetings.

If Murray makes the final from the top half...

Hopefully if he wins and Djokovic wins a 6hrathon, the worst Andy can do is add more blows to the Djokovic energy tank for Tsonga or Kei.

I never considered Murray likely to win here anyway so hopefully he saves his best stuff for Wimbledon where he can certainly add #3 to the cabinet.

Don't worry about Wimbledon - he's joining Laver, Borg, Federer and Nadal as the fifth man in the open era to win the double.
