A player of Federer's calibre wouldn't play today if he wasn't feeling that he's making a progress.
Dude, your guy is winning. Stop taunting Roger fans. What's wrong with you. lol

Irrelevant since what he said was true. Yet again you fail to be funny or make a valid point. You should stop posting along with OP.

Noletards getting too desperate now in their attempts to worship their hero, pathetic really. Any actual tennis fan could tell you 33 year old Federer is not even a shadow of the force he once was. This will happen to your object of worship too, if he's still playing at 33 that is.

Wrong. Federer is still as good as it gets on fast courts, that's why he schooled Nole in Shanghai and Dubai, but Djokovic is slow/medium courts GOAT, so no wonder he dominates his turf. To be fair less than 25% of the tour consists of fastcourts and Fed is unlucky in that case if that makes you sleep better.

Actually a good post. :)
Fed's still a shadow these days though, but that level is still the tour's best on fast HC.

The fact is Federer didn't decline that much. The rest of the field especially top players - No1e, Wawrinka, ... raised up their game. No more Roddicks, Davydenkos, Hewitts, Nalbandians, Blakes and the rest of the weak field to own them in slams.

I mean if you seriously believe this and are not trolling, I am not sure who let you out of the ND forum.

It's both.

Federer right now is incredibly declined from his prime level.
In 2011-12, he wasn't as declined, but still enough to lose closely instead of win closely.

Novak also raised his game, that is obvious.
Credit to him for setting the new standard.

^^ Be lucky Djokovic might get some free slams due to Federer and Nadal being AWOL. Even this Djokovic wouldn't stand a chance in 2006-2007.

Realize Djokovic won his 2nd slam in 2011, and ever since your mouth and your delusions of grandeur have grown exponentially.

When Djoker is Federer's age, or in Nadal's condition, I'd like to see how he is doing.

I doubt that a guy like peak Blake would have been able to reach TOP-15 now, but in Fed's era he was №4:superlol::superlol:

He'd ultimately lose to Nadal at RG and Fed at the other three, but he'd beat everyone else.
IMO he'd snatch a win or two off Fed (e.g. if they played AO on plexi he'd win sometimes, maybe one fluke USO win)

But he'd be a solid #3 to Fedal or maybe #2 due to better consistency than Nadal had then.
