I hope you play 4-8 hours a day...getting good enough to compete on that level is very difficult.

Are you better than Xristos?

Don't worry, you don't have to answer that question. Seriously, who have you beaten in the last six months? If the answer is 'no one' or 'no one who is ranked' than don't even think of playing in Futures because you will get your ass kicked. Play some local tournaments (juniors, opens, whatever) then try some Futures events.

You will not get a profile on the ATP Website until you win matches and earn points. Read this:

http://www.itftennis.com/mens/startingout/

then read all the pages linked on the left side. That's a good place to start.

Good luck. :wavey:

Yeah, you need to rearrange these in a hurry...

1) Get into a qualifying draw and win three matches
2) Win a main draw match
3) Get a ranking point, maybe even 200 of them.
4) Get a profile page when the ATP gets around to updating it (usually once a year for the lower ranked guys, and maybe they'll put your photo up there after five years or so).

Your best bet is to work your ass off and try to get a scholarship to a D2 school. Sure being a pro would be nice but your chances are almost 0.

Don't let anyone talk you out of it, go for it. What's the worst that happens, you try and you fail?

Even if you get double bageled it will still be an awesome experience, and make a good story.
