I think it would be sensational to see Djokovic a Tier-1 Great. To think of it, He played in the Era of Federer and Nadal both Tier-1 Greats. And if another player comes from that Era and Displaces both of them and becomes a Tier-1 Great, it would be great for the Game. Tennis would move a Level Up if that Happens.

And for him to be come a Tier-1 Great, One Roland Garos and Slams in Double Digit Slams would make him a Tier-1 Great, IMO. I think his Task is greatly accentuated by the fact that His Each Grand Slam is almost like 1 and a half times one Grand Slam of Federer and Nadal. This thing would be picked up by only Serious Tennis Fans. A Casual Tennis fan would just purely think of Numbers like 17 and 14.

Djokovic's Grand Slams are worth 1.5x Nadal/Federer's? what are you talking about? shut up please

he needs to be whatever he becomes and that is all. nothing is 'needed'. it is what it is and what it should be, stop with this weird mixing of subjective reasoning with objective reasoning, it appears you've confused even yourself

Shit, that's nothing: Murray's are worth at least ten times each of Fedal's. Not to mention that Delpo's and Cilic's USO titles alone put Fedal's careers together to shame.

Absolutely. He's already a Tier 1 great for destroying Nadal in 2011. It's already a travesty that an inferior player like Nadal leads him by 7 slams.

You can spin it anyway you want but fact of the matter is that Novak is better than Dull on HC and equal if not better on grass(I'd argue better) but worse than him on clay. So being better on 2 surfaces than that shitty poverty surface and he's behind 7 slams? That's a horrible anomaly.

You know that feeling when deep down you know you're better than someone but you don't have the numbers to prove it? Yup that's the Djokodal rivalry in a nutshell.

Where have you been? This was proven beyond a doubt way back in the summer of '13. And then Nole just rubbed salt in the wound with his HC slam sweep in '14. Tier 1 shit right there. :worship:

Djokovic is not better than Nadal on grass, and while he is obviously more consistent on HC his 'best' on the surface is not really better than Nadals best on HC, in terms of level they can reach. AO 2012 final shows that to some degree, they are fairly evenly matched even on HC when both are playing well

USO 2011 final showed to full degree, they are not evenly matched even on HC when both are playing well
right then.... so what did the 2010 and 2013 US Open finals show? you are such a hypocritical poster who appears incapable of weighing sound logic. you will just ignore certain matches and point to others. its hilarious you bring up the US Open where Nadal has the edge historically over Djokovic and has won more titles

Novak is the better HC player but not by some massive margin so don't get carried away.

He is right about HC tbf, the gap isn't big though, like Nadal on clay against him(there is a huge gap there, obviously). grass I would rate Nadal greater.

HC slams: Djokovic: 5, Nadal: 3
HC Masters: Djokovic: 15, Nadal: 8

Not by some massive margin? almost double the count at the slams as well, duh!

It's hilarious that you totally lack logic, but accusing me of the same. Novak didn't play well at USO '10, in 2013 only for 1 set. Nevertheless Nadal played great in 2011 and still lost.
If anybody overcoming his/her tardish viewpoint can accept that, why can't you?
Because you cannot overcome. Simple as that.

He has a good chance at 10+ slams including a RG. Combined with his many master's, WTF's, and weeks at #1, he would clearly make the Open Era tier 1, currently consisting of Borg, Sampras, Federer, and Nadal.
