I don't care if you want 5 sets. Don't clap when someone double faults or makes an error that the opponent didn't even force. It's just so rude.

See, they messed him up. They started making noise in the middle of the point. Crap like that is such a let man. This isn't futbol where you can make all this noise.

it went from a district to a republic so quickly.......I must have missed some sort of American University student riot/takeover or something..... :eek:

it was a protest in front of the Capital lawn though. It had no affiliation with my uni

The crowd is awful... in most of the others matches I watched this week it was an American vs. a non American so I figured well you can't really blame them but tonight they are being cruel to Pete Sampras! Cheering DF and stuff like that... it's awful!

I agree with you 99% Mrs_Guga! :) But you have to let these tennis fans clap and cheer from time to time. But hopefully they'll use good judgement and clap at the appropriate time.

Somehow sports fans over the years have come to think of themselves as part of the game. Or even worse, they think they're part of the team they are cheering for! :eek: And that's where alot of terrible fan behaviour begins!

And unfortunately, bad fan behaviour is everywhere! :(

You cant blame them. I guess they cant even see if it was a double fault half way from the moon. I guess they see the point in the scoreboard and cheer. :p

Seriously, though, thats rude. Its almost as bad as cell phones ringing. :mad:

Tis not only in America folks, at the French Open, they do that too...there are rude fans all over who don't know anything about tennis...:(
