What about Nadal and Djokovic?
Especially Djokovic, who has won Wimbledon 6 times.
Slice is important on grass.

Djokovic very rarely hits one especially BH as he is often able to stretch instead. It's definitely not a very natural shot for him.

Nadal's is better than Novak's, which is not saying much. Not their best shot.

Nadal has a good BH slice which actually helped him beat Novak in USopen final 2013.

for someone who can go down as most accomplished tennis player ever, novak does have some of the most weird or unnatural looking shots like his bh slice, overhead smash and vollies..his forehand also kinda seems forced at times..only his topspin backhand and footwork seems to be fluid and smooth..still to win as much as he has done is I think testament to his hand eye coordination that compenstates for lack of fluidity in his shots..

Nadal’s slice is very underrated IMO. His defensive slice is one of the best in the game and his rallying slice although not anywhere near as good as Federer but very effective and has won him multiple matches most notably USOpen19 and AO22 finals vs Medvedev.

He uses it very wisely to mix pace and change patterns. Djokovic barely uses it at all unless he is forced. No comparison really.

Nadal has a fantastic slice.
He sometimes uses it to draw opponents into the net where they aren't comfortable and passes them.

Djok doesn't slice that much. Nadal does when he wants to disrupt whatever patterns aren't working for him.
Nadal is by far the most tactical slicer of the two Djok and him.
