I have noticed the missuse of quotes on menstennisforums.com several times and I thought that it was time to explain how they work
NB. Green text= No perticular user

1. Quotes are not to be used if the post isn't relevant to the quoted text eg.

Roger Federer is the best player in the world

2. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, Quotes come before your reply, not after

i think the most annoying is in photo threads when people feel the need to quote the whole effing stupid post and thus copy all of the photos over and over again. what's the point? you only need to see it ONCE, and for those without high speed internet it can take forever to load. grrrrrrrrr!

Well unless you have 0 cache, it should only need to load once and then it remembers it.

Yes, you simply insert the text you would like to be quoted between these two tags. (obviously without the asterisks)
