6 months ago Djokovic was done and will never win anything big again.
Today? Djokovic is GOAT and will win 25+ slams and become president of Serbia.

MTF in a nutshell. :sport:

The recency bias needs to stop now!! There seriously needs to be a middle ground and that's where the answer is... Djokovic won't remain at 14 and he won't win 25, so a number such as 18 or so is the likely correct answer...

If Novak is on 18 slams, lets say at the age of 33, whilst fed is still on 20, do people really think Djok won't be hell bent on surpassimg him? He will either win just a couple more or will surpass Federer...there is no tying and he wont give up the chase if he is just two slams from Fed. The same with Nadal...he isn't going to retire on 19 slams lol

Djokovic's going to win 8 more grand slams at the age of 31 1/2 now, really? He won his last 8 grand slams (#7-#14) from W 2014-USO 2018, it took him 4 1/2 years to win his last 8, meaning if he won another 8 it'd take at least 4 1/2 years at which point he'll be 36+, I just don't see it happening...

As for Rafa, you say he's going to win 5 more, he's 32+ now and he won his last 5 grand slams (#13-#17) from USO 2013-now, so last 5 years, for him to win another 5 it would take him at least 5 years, at which point he'll be 37+ and I imagine he'll be retired by then for physical reasons....

I don't think there's enough time left for these guys to win 8 more grand slams (Djokovic) and 5 more grand slams (Rafa), just not happening. Guys don't win 10 (Djokovic) and 8 (Rafa) grand slams after tuning age 30, it just doesn't and won't happen...

Rogie's already the 2nd oldest to win a grand slam in the Open Era, therfore, if he wants to be the oldest, he has to do it at like the 2019 AO or 2019 W, or else time has run out, because on 8/8/19 he turns 38!!
