Everybody plays on Olympics with maximum intensity and beyond, you play not only for yourself but for your country as well. Many favorites can't handle that pressure and intensity, which is much higher than on slams, which is why peak Federer lost to a mug, Djokovic lost to Del Potro in R1 and so on.

And not only that.

You have 4 slams every year, but you have OG every 4 years. 4 x 4 = 16.

So if 1 OG = 16 slams, it means that:

Murray have 2 x 16 + 3 = 35 slams
Nadal have 1 x 16 + 17 = 33 slams

Federer's doubles OG of course doesn't count, if anything he should get minus points for getting carried to vulturing that ridiculous doubles gold. So he is out of discussion.

This also means that Djokovic still has a work to do to surpass all the brave and clutch 1 time OG winners.

So is Murray the real GOAT? Or Nadal if he wins 2 more slams?
