The main argument we hear about why peak Federer(04-07) was better than his older versions is in the power difference. Maybe Federer has always been playing the same tennis, but the court speed was the reason why Fed's game wasn't anymore as effective as at his peak?

Only RG has stationary court speed, but Fed hasn't had a bad losses there: Djokovic, Nadal and big hitters able to overpower anyone on their day(Soderling, Tsonga, Gulbis)

Until 2011 all matches were filmed by 360p or 720p cameras, the experts call it weak cameras era, since 2011 we have 1080p cameras aka strong cameras era, so the points are more realistic now with the more realistic speed. Till 2011 they had to faster the points in the cutting room, because of it they look faster, but in reality, since 2011 all matches are played in much higher speed. You can see the difference when you watch Djokovic, till 2011 it had looked like that he's a talented shotmaker, since 2011 he's looked like a defensive retriever. But he's played the same tennis since 2008, only the competition has got older. So we have weak strong cameras era era.

A pile of cowpoo. Does not matter in what format videos are made, you have official monitor device that measure speed of the ball of every hit. There is not much difference between 130/150km hit , but it gives you that slight edge over your opponent.

Speed is essential but so is the aim, and tactical decisions . I will repeat myself, im not Federer fan, not any for that matter, but its clear that Federer lost bit of that crucial straight and freshness.

This is even more true in 2015. With more and more courts being televised, this strong camera era has a greater depth than at any point in the history of the game.

Here's a hint for you bubbo, when RG is fast like in 2011, Fed dominates the field, including Peakovic. Only his mental state causes him to choke to Nadal.

That wasn't peak Djokovic. Peak Djokovic is now.

Basically while we're typing in this thread Novak is experiencing his absolute peak:bigwave:

Did you never know Federer's baseline game never was good and he had already visible manboobs, when he won Roland Garros according to mtf?
