1) Everyone will finally come to the realization that though Roger is talented and a nice guy he suffers from Corretja syndrome i.e. to nice to win. He might get to the semis of Wimby. and win some 1/2 masters.

2) Either Guga or JCF will win Roland Garros. They will meat in the finals. Nico and Moya will get to the semis.

3) Fernando Gonzalez will learn to value of controlled agression and win a masters title and get to the quaters of AO and USO

4) Marat will win Wimby beating Goran in the finals (I'd kill for that matchup)

5) Lleyton will reclaim USO beating Marat in the finals (this would be beyond exciting)

6) Lleyton will not win AO though he might get to AO finals. (a) too much pressure at home, (b)does not perform well when the crowd is on his side. Andre will beat lleyton in the finals.

7)James will get to finals of 1/2 masters preferably beating Andy along the way.

8) Guga will finally get past the quarters at USO

9) Tim will lose in the semis of wimby again.

10) Paradorn will reach a masters final

11) Lleyton and Kim will finally marry so that we get a break from the tabloid stories:rolleyes:

12) Marat will have me as permanent benchwarmer/cheerleader;)

4) Lleyton will defend his Wimbledon crown ;)

5) I agree that Lleyton will regain the title :D

6) He doesn't do as well in front of crowds that cheer for him, but he wants this title so bad I don't think it'll be a factor.

11) Yes please! :hearts: :D :bounce:

Nahhh.... He aint no Spanish or Swedish, no chance.

2) Either Guga or JCF will win Roland Garros. They will meat in the finals. Nico and Moya will get to the semis.

Nico as in Nicolas Escude? ;)
Seriously, i think they will be in the same quarter. Damn fait.

3) Fernando Gonzalez will learn to value of controlled agression and win a masters title and get to the quaters of AO and USO

No, he will win a GS if his head will be on

4) Marat will win Wimby beating Goran in the finals (I'd kill for that matchup)

Neither will reach the final.

5) Lleyton will reclaim USO beating Marat in the finals (this would be beyond exciting)

Marat will win the USO. Go Marat('s head)!

6) Lleyton will not win AO though he might get to AO finals. (a) too much pressure at home, (b)does not perform well when the crowd is on his side. Andre will beat lleyton in the finals.

He will not pass the semis

He will probably reach a final. Probably in Cinci

Now that really is what you call wishful thinking :p Well @ least Tommy gave him a 1 game ;) :p Pffff @ Tommy though 4 losing his concentration  :p
Zhenya to get bored and make a comeback

Marat to find his brain and become #1
My 2003 wish is that

Guga wins australian open beating Lleyton hewith
Gugal wins French open beating Ferrero
Guga wins Wimbledon beating Sampras :D
Guga wins US open beating Safin

But to be realistic

I would like Marat, Guga, Ferrero, and Blake to be winners of a slam.

I would also like the best male tennis players to be contenders in the slam, not just a Costa, Johanson, Nalbandian in finals.

Also, can those oldies sampras and agassi finally retire. :bounce:

I agree, but he might just get 1 Masters.

2) Either Guga or JCF will win Roland Garros. They will meat in the finals. Nico and Moya will get to the semis.
What Nico?? If it is Lapentti, I'll appreciate the fact that you at least named it, because he's not having a good moment.

I am sure Juan Carlos will win it next year!

3) Fernando Gonzalez will learn to value of controlled agression and win a masters title and get to the quaters of AO and USO.

He'll improve his performances of this year, that's why I agree, he'll get a Masters, at least 3 normal tournaments, and will do semis of a Grand Slam.

4) Marat will win Wimby beating Goran in the finals (I'd kill for that matchup)

I hope so!! but I don't think that Goran will be his rival.

5) Lleyton will reclaim USO beating Marat in the finals (this would be beyond exciting)

No way! If this happens as you said it, I know that Safin will win it!

6) Lleyton will not win AO though he might get to AO finals. (a) too much pressure at home, (b)does not perform well when the crowd is on his side. Andre will beat lleyton in the finals.

Lleyton will stay in quarters of the AO.

7)James will get to finals of 1/2 masters preferably beating Andy along the way.

Nope, I think that James will win one, and Andy another one, so each tournament for each one.

8) Guga will finally get past the quarters at USO.

I don't think so....

9) Tim will lose in the semis of wimby again.

I'm so sure of that, je je, it's almost like if I'm already watching it.

10) Paradorn will reach a masters final

Very probable.

11) Lleyton and Kim will finally marry so that we get a break from the tabloid stories:rolleyes:

I don't care, anyway, I dislike both, so they can do whatever they want.....

12) Marat will have me as permanent benchwarmer/cheerleader;)

Oh.....come on!:( I wanna be also his permanent cheerleader, je je, why not a team of all of us?? JE je....:p :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
Seriously, i think they will be in the same quarter. Damn fait.
 Don't say it
My wish is to see Guga and Ferrero in the finals of the French Open :D

They should have been seeded on opposite sides in 2001, if RG would just pull a damn Wimbledon

Seeing as Ferrero lost to the guy who he was "supposed" to beat this year, maybe he could beat the guy he is "supposed" to lose to? ;)
This is my wish list:

Haas win Aussie
Ferrero win French (this is not a wish, cos I'm sure will happen)
Federer win Wimby
Marat win USO

Sampras retires and Pat comes back to win the Davis Cup. But if not, Spain with Ferrero and Moya get Spain another Davis Cup...
I forgot about Davis Cup :D

Alright here is my Davis Cup wish : Argentina and Spain are on opposite sides, and meet in the finals in Spain, and play on clay :D

And Spain wins it 11-9 in the fifth set of the deciding fifth rubber :D
I'm refering to Lapenti. He leaped into my heart when he decided to administer a good old fashioned beat down to Roddick in Toronto.:bounce:

I really do want to see Marat, Guga, Lleyton and JCF take control of the men's tour next year. It'll be kinda like (my fave) the good boys vs (my fave) the bad boys. James, Fernando G., Taylor, Carlos, Canas and Nico can provide the extra excitement. James looks like he's developing a rafter-like game :bounce:

I'm also hoping the 18 year olds Ancic and Gasquet make a splash as they dive into the pro men's tour.

Don't really care about DC but If Pat comes back I want Australia to win.

In conclusion, I've had this "discussion"with ATPgirl but in case ya'll didn't get it, I'm not sharing Marat. ;)
I don't remember who wrote it (to lazy to scroll back) But how can you not like Ll. and Kim they're like a mini Andre&Steffi. Very adorable in a puppyish (is that a word?) kinda way but without all the titles.

Actually Lleyton seems to thrive on pressure and loves having the crowd on his side. (see many Davis Cup wins)
No one player will win more than one GS.
Actually Lleyton seems to thrive on pressure and loves having the crowd on his side. (see many Davis Cup wins)
Many of his Davis Cup wins (his best in fact) came AWAY from home soil.

For example: Costa in 2000 finals, Guga in 2000.
I'm also hoping the 18 year olds Ancic and Gasquet make a splash as they dive into the pro men's tour.
Gasquet won't turn 17 untill around Roland Garros next year.

But I'm looking forward to the progression of the young French lad as well :)
zhenya to make a comeback and win wimbledon...
