Lleyton Hewitt has hit out at his treatment by the organising body of men's tennis as he arrived in Shanghai for the season-ending Masters Cup.
The Australian used the opening ceremony to reiterate his intention to revise his schedule for next year.
And Hewitt made it clear he has not forgiven the ATP for fining him $103,000 earlier this year for refusing to do a compulsory television interview in Cincinnati.
"There are people at the ATP who don't treat you the way they should," said Hewitt.
"I wouldn't say we were on the greatest of terms."
The fine has already been appealed and will more than likely be reduced, ATP chief Mark Miles has said.
"We are not going to comment on Lleyton's schedule or the fine issue until it has been resolved," an ATP spokesman said.
"We are going to let it take its course."
In September, Hewitt said he would cut down on his 2003 schedule to concentrate on Grand Slams and the Davis Cup.
He said his decision was based on a number of reasons, including his own health and fitness.
