Hewitt and Philippoussis to play double together

Hewitt and Philippoussis will play double together in some atp tourneys next year to train for Davis Cup.

Excellent! This means more practice for Mark, and that he is healthy enough to be playing singles and doubles..

GLad to hear he is leaning towards Davis Cup again :)

that due to the davis cup ... i remembet kiefer and haas playing doubles for that reason and alex and carlos playing last year in AO

I wonder i any of that offcourt tension will boil over between them? :D

You know all the "I dont' want Mark playing, we're fine without him on the team! Boo hoo" bit that Hewitt was throwing around for a while...

Then again now that Pat isn't around, maybe he's smartened up and realized that he isn't going to win the Davis Cup by himself.
