3 consecutive SFMs broken (if my memory serves me right)

Sousa was almost coming from behind in set 2, after 2-5. He even defended a MP there. Then at 4-5 *40-15 he lost 4 straight points and the match. This was a important tournament for him, since it was a 500 and a nice opportunity of scoring some pts. Was a bit unlucky of meeting the worst possible non-seed in the draw. Rosol was always the favourite on clay.

6th seed in Umag, let's hope he can make a deep run there, but the field is quite good for a 250. And he seeds a SF to win some points at this stage of his career.

Sousa is currently ranked #35? He'll probably be seeded in the US Open if he's able to mantain this ranking, since Almagro, Haas and Del Potro aren't playing.

He has 80 points to defend next week from Guimaraes Challenger last year. That will determine whether he is seeded or not.

Lukas trashing this mug Sousa clown:cheerleader:

What a great form he is in:yippee:

And to think this time last year he lost 9 consecutive first round matches at the ATP level:hug:

Hope he gets revenge on Robredo for that awful choke at the Australian Open this year:smooch:

NID result. Sousa faced two players in decent shape on clay and lost easily: Cuevas and Rosol. And that was it. Again, stupid season of coming play in clay.
