Re: Hamburg Entry List (updated June 3, 2014)

Disappointing entry list for a 500 event, IMO. I sometimes wonder if a surface change would make this tournament a little bit more attractive to marquee players.

Re: Hamburg Entry List (updated June 3, 2014)

Are you kidding, clay is probably the most popular surface in the world.
That may be, but post-Wimbledon, most top players are already thinking about their preparation for the US Open.

With a surface change, the EL wouldn´t be better, since the top players are on vacation during that period.

Yeah, but some don't want to go to the US right away and some don't want to hit the HC's right away, some top players are still resting after the French-Wimby stretch, so it's nice to play on clay and not hard.

Go Pablo Carreño :cheerleader:.

We are expecting big things from you (Spanish tennis needs new blood). You should be able to get to at least to QF in this kind of event.

Re: Hamburg Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated July 1, 2014)

Also a WC for Peter Gojowczyk.

Guess Brown would also get one if heeds one but think he will get in. Else Reister should also have a good chance being from Hamburg.
