Didn't Saretta beat Kuerten in that big upset in the first round of Salvador in 2001? I know Kuerten had his hip injury and only won one more match after the US Open that year, but that is still a 1-0 head-to-head lead...
However, when you consider a) the ease with which Kuerten dispatched Vinciguerra in Davis Cup in the first match and b) the ease with which Vinciguerra dispatched Saretta in the deciding match, I think a fit Guga is going to sweep him off the court in double-quick time.
we can't really predict, because Guga is still used to play hard court(since July last year) he only played hard courts, and he said he didn't play really great against Miranda.. but he said that with matches he'll lift his level up and become better each match.. against Saretta, he expects a pretty equal match, and only a couple of shots are going to tell who's going to win...
still, I think Guga will prove too strong for Saretta.. I hope!!
double set point saretta..
come on Guga, hold your serve PLEAAAASE!!
deuce again..... damn..
a third set point.. Guga's really not there..
and saved again! who's gonna win that game?
OMG he held...
Kuerten is leading with 5/2 from their seven meetings, but the last one was in the masters Hamburg in 1999.
So it will be a beautifull match I think, both number ones, both winners roland garros, both being back from serious injury, moyke is already in the top ten and guga will come back in the...
