In the Australian Open WC Playoff.

He can still qualify for the QFs (the knockout stage) if he wins his next match in his group...

Apparently Verryth's matches don't count so it depends if Brydan Klein Wins against Groth. He can still make it even ifd he loses but Klein has to lose.

Cmon Flip Good luck tomozz!!

Replacements in the Masters Cup can qualify, can't they? I mean, replacements after the tournament has already started...

Yeah, it's just that they are disadvantaged if they have the same number of wins as someone else. For example, they wouldn't be able to make it regardless of the score if they were 2-0 in matches and someone else was 2-1.

Klein reitred with a knee injury today against Verryth.. so fortunately luck is on Marks side and he's pretty much secured the spot. Now its up to him to make something of it.

The difference between Groth and Klein is that Groth could actually return Mark's serve decently, while Klein barely could get a return in play. Mark is still very inconsistent in his groundstrokes, so getting his serve back and winning a few rallies is pretty much all it takes to beat him.
