Even if it's an approximation, this is a good indicator
I often dreamed of someone undertaking the calculation of total career year-end atp ranking points (normalized as points distribution changed overs the last decades)
This would be the most objective and accurate goat race

Imagine how dumb you'd have to be to think an imaginary "goat" race matters more than Grand Slam Titles....
Heck, even Masters Titles matter more than "goat".
Stick to the facts, not the fiction.

OER will soon have this option. Your dream will become reality.

In case you missed it:

"The ATP Finals is the second most prestigious world wide competition in tennis after the Grand Slam tournaments. ATP Finals winners are awarded up to 1500 rankings points".
Nadal has 0.

Weeks at #1, Nadal Is behind:
Federer
Sampras
Djokovic
Lendl
Connors

Deal with it

The horrible methodology by a Rafa hater in disguise. Typical to put emphasize on WTF, a largely unimportant tournament to put Rafa behind Djokovic and Federer.

Ridiculous table. Federer had to play two all time greats in their 20s, Djokovic doesn't have to play ANY all time great in their 20s.Comparison is not possible.

Laughable.
If WTF is unimportant, why is the winner awarded 1500 ATP points?
Let me see, you opened 3 nonsense threads all about Rafa in a few hours, speaks volumes. WTF is unimportant as a GOAT race indicator, though that GOAT thing is just an excuse for people who know little about tennis but want to hype their favorite and bash his opponent.

Djokovic and Federer would exchange if not all, then at least 5 of their WTF titles for one Olympic gold medal, which somehow is not included in your methodology.

Yes, sure...

and BTW, even if we don't take WTF into account (just to make you happy), Nadal is still trailing both Federer and Djokovic.
Anyway, fact remains WTF is the 2nd most important tournament after Grand Slams.

This couldnt have been more on facts, Acording to the ATP points system. Though I disagree with it there being one goat race at all, this would be the closest as an objective indicator as you can have if the 3 end up roughly the same .

It's good tradition but in singles finals is more like Pro-exhibiton, sorry. In Men's doubles it's more competitive although.

I don't like Nadal but he is right about Finals really.

Amazing how latest GOAT MTF troll has answer to extremely nuanced question, even biased tennis pundit "experts" are shutting up on this question

There should be another section for YE #1 to earn 2,000 (up to 3,000 points). You can be #1 for 30/50 weeks, but if you can't finish the year as #1 it's not as impressive.

Also, Slam finals should also count as 1200 (or worst case 1000) points.

Now Nadal is officially GOAT which was what was decided last US open and i remember before that event Federer fans and Djokovic fans said USO winner would decide GOat, you will see all sorts of imaginative formulas drawn up to try and discredit Rafa which actually is a sign even his haters think he is GOAT.

Only way there can ever be a debate is if Federer or Djokovic can win FO beating Nadal.
