well the odds of kim winning to me were strongly against her. coming of the way lindsay played tokyo and ofcourse serena, i saw her having no chance unless these two weren't in the draw, now they both are out, serena walkover:( lindsay just outright lost:fiery: the tournie seems to be her's to loose, but i doubt she does loose.

The headlines will read "Clijsters avoids upset bug"

Nothing is ever predictable, who thought Lindsay would lose to Ai? Kim could lose to!

VenuSerena ....didn't you predict a Serena and Kim final, then when Serena withdrew it's going to be a Lindsay and Kim final....something tells me your crystal ball is a piece of shit.

Let Kim play her first match and then we'll have a better idea who will win!

THe weather is too cold. Most of these players have not been practicing in 45-55 degree weather. Meghann lives in scottsdale and went back after tokyo skipping paris, antwerp and dubai.

Head to Head Kim vs Meghann is split 2-2

Wow Serena, Davenport, Dokic and Rubin are all gone  I wouldn't say it's a gimme for Kim..Shaughnessy could give her some trouble..but it definatly looks very good for her.

It's true. Match was suspended at 4-2 40-0.
Kim seems to be cruising.
I like this tournament upset-wise, very exciting, and I love Stevenson, Sugiyama and Clijsters, so the chances of one of my faves winning or 2 of my faves in the final are big.
Sugiyama or Daniilidou vs Clijsters in the final is my prediction.

Excuse me, but Kim defeated Lindsay in two sets in Sydney, so why wouldn't have she done it here?
