I'm thinking about going to watch some slams now that I'm getting a bit older and able to afford it and was a little bit confused about how to get tickets and such. I'm most interested in the US Open and Wimbledon. For Wimbledon, it seems like they have some sort of ballot system that goes a year in advance and then another system for tickets bought later. I see some places seeming to sell Wimbledon tickets, but they're all more than $2000 USD for 3rd round tickets which seems high at least compared to what I see in other slams. I'm also not sure how trustworthy these tickets are since they don't come from the actual Wimbledon site.
