People here underrate the generation of Raonic, Goffin and Dimitrov. I am not saying that these three are goliaths of the game, since none of them have really challenged the Big 3 so far. But there were important victories here and there. And that was the Big 3 in their primes.

As one-dimensional as his game is, Raonic is a great player. He dispatched the biggest stars of the NextGen os slow HC at the last two AOs: Kyrgios, Zverev, Tsitsipas. And with ease.

The NextGen has collected a few realtively big titles only due to the shrinking down the Big 3 schedule. Very incompetent players.
You look at someone like Zverev, the guy does not have a single offensive shot in his arsenal. And we are not talking about a tactical mastermind like Simon here.

People predicted a non-Big 3 win at this AO. In fact, this board and tennis fans in general have been predicting a new slam winner for years. The Big 3 dominance looks stronger and more solid than ever before. Every time a young player gets close to beating a Big 3 at a slam, MTF is quick to predict the end of Big 3 dominance. Djokovic played easy yesterday, did not even pull the trigger.

Worst post ever. Seriously.

Right now we have Berrettini, Zverev, Medvedev, Tsitsipas all in the top 10. In the top 20 we have Shapovalov, Khachanov, Rublev, Kyrgios and FAA.

That's 9 members of Gen Next. There are only 3 members of Gen useless in this mix, Schwartzman, Goffin and Thiem.

Yes, Generation useless may have a more successful year, but that doesn't mean that they are more successful in general.

Can you read?

I am not sure. I said Raonic and co scored wins in the Big 3s prime. Big difference. Now the Big 3 doesn't even care. Djokovic is focusing on business and family, same with Federer. They play at half speed and beat the tour easily.

Well TBH, you can make some Grocery accounting in compairing ranking

Who cares if JImmy Arias was once #5 or Mikael Pernfors #10 or Vytautas Gerulaitis #3, they are all forgotten.

Real thing is Slams.

And so far it is a Big Fat Zero Tie.
