Ljubicic official retirement means actual generation change in Croatian tennis.
His example will most likely follow Ivo Karlovic very soon!
It`s actually a sad moment as just few weeks ago we were talking about 4 players
Staying inside top 40.
So, the book remains on Marin Cilic shoulder`s as Dodig is also not in his teens.
Having quite excellent tradition with recent players like Ivanisevic and Ancic
All the way back to Franulovic and Pilic.
So the question is who is a next young Croatian star ?
Considering there is a solid age gap for a few new guns and their real chance of emerging
I would rather put my money on somebody like Mesaros to surface.
Yes, I know people are seeing Coric or Pavic to do so, but to my mind comes Mesaros who
might follow Dodig pathway.
Why anybody except us Croatian should care about this?
Well… let`s put it this way; emotions are going along!
You don`t have to be Ivanisevic fan, but you got to admit he had spirit!
