"It's a shame to end the year on a loss like that but today, there was nothing to do.My coach(Deblicker) didn't even bawl me out!
It's true i served pretty badly but it's mostly him who played incredibly well.He is with Nalbandian the most dificult player to play against for me.
Against Federer or Nadal,i find solutions but against him,i can't.
I end the year badly but it was a good season for me",said Gasquet
Now,rest a bit Richie and work very hard on your game(and especially on this forehand! ) to come back stronger the next year.

As usual, his opponent was "incredible".

Just stating the facts... Better to give credit than come up with a bunch of excuses. And he did say he can't find solutions to Ferrer -as if to recognize his weakness. So overall I think an honest, classy response.

Only problem this is the second time he mentioned how Nalbandian is more difficult for him than Federer - Richard, better watch out the next time you play Fed.

Well,to be fair,he is only stating facts: he has played Federer 6 or 7 times and even though he has beaten him only once,in almost all his matches against him, he has been competitive whereas against Ferrer and Nalbandian,he has often been trounced.

He is being classy with his opponent and i like that.
But one thing which annoys me a little bit in his post match reaction
is when he says "my coach didn't even bawl me out!"........he sounds like a small boy saying that.

He says it far too often. Shows he has no fight, everytime hes being outplayed he just gives up and accepts the fact that his opponent is "too good".

Hope Fed will kick his ass the same way he kicked Haas' ass after similar comments...
Yeah, right. Federer has just as much difficulty playing Nalbandian, so perhaps Gasquet and Fed should get together and work out how best to beat Nalbandian.

To be fair,i prefer him to be "extreme" in that way.
I would be way more unhappy if he were doing a Djoko saying "i had the control of the match" after losing in straight sets to an opponent

Well, actually,he should be a priority for him as for example,it's him who prevented Gasquet to perhaps win a non MM tourney 2 weeks ago in a MS 1/2 final.
Well, you think Richard would have beaten Rafa had they meet in the Paris final?

Btw, a fired up fat Dave is a threat to anybody, not only to Richard (even though he's a bad match-up) ;)

 you're such a delusional fangirl :)

So you think the only guys preventing Richard from reaching the very top are Dave and Pics? you've already written Fed, Nadal, Djoke and Muzza off?

Well he can praise these opponents (Nalby and Ferrer) but leave others out of it like Federer and Nadal. There was really no need in mentioning them. Both players he thinks he can be but hasn't on a consistent basis will only get fired up and make him pay. Both Federer and Nadal are mentally stronger. Until you have a real record against them I wouldn't mention them.
