And should have won the tiebreak a lot more easily, but served a double fault at *6-4 up which nearly proved fatal. He saved, what, 4 or 5 matchpoints? There was one on his serve at 5-6 down in the final set, then several more in the tiebreak.

GGL beats Isner 76(4) 67(1) 76(11) in more than 3 hours!

Plenty of match points saved out there. Both of them had break point in the last couple of games.

Particular stats, Voo?

Congratulations to GGL anyway.

Match points wasted:

Isner :

6-5* 40-30
7-6**
9-8**
11-10** ACE

Garcia Lopez:
*6-4 DF
6-5* Ace
8-7**
10-9**
^ Exactly.
GGL has won 3 tight matches this week saving match point in two of them!
Last year he beat Karlovic 6-4 6-7(4) 7-6(5) so definitely he knows what to do against the biggest servers :D

Isner had so many chances, and played like crap on so many of them.

I gotta say, I'm not entirely sure his last ball was indeed out. I don't think he was either.
